The Iditarod begins on March 7, marking the forty-second year of this iconic race. As more than seventy-five mushers and thousands of huskies gear up to make the 998-mile trek from Anchorage to Nome, we thought it was only fitting to honor this unique tradition with the release some of our very own Alaska-themed books—and with a giveaway!

In Wiggle-Waggle Woof 1, 2, 3, count down with a team of sled dogs as they prepare for the big race!

Alaska’s Three Little Pigs is a classic tale with a tundra twist—three pigs live in the frozen tundra of Alaska where they build igloos to escape the clutches of a big bad bear.

Alaska’s Snow White and Her Seven Sled Dogs tells the story of a beautiful princess who is banished to the frozen wilds of Alaska and must escape her stepmother, the ice queen. Snow White confronts the conniving, shape-shifting queen with her seven gifted sled dogs by her side.
